The first Quarter of 2022 introduced some really great tracks. Some familiar favorites like Hippo Campus and Fyfe launched new albums, and there were a TON of great new finds like ill peach and Flight Facilities. Something interesting about Apple Music, the platform I’ve been using the past three months, is the emphasis on new music that comes out recently–meaning, new music from 2022 in January of this year and onwards. Spotify, I found, introduced a mix of artists and songs from past decades if the algorithm recognized your listening habits as focused on the early 2000s, 2010s, or whatever you were listening to.
Interesting the differences in platforms. *Shrugs*
This playlist has a fun balance, one I never grew tired of listening to. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have over the past three months!
As always, feel free to drop your favorite tracks in the comments below!
